Would you like to learn practical skills to reduce stress and anxiety at will? The Learn to Relax program is a unique stress management training program for individuals based on mindfulness and deep-relaxation. This skills-based program gives you the structure, process and support you need to take control of your life and reduce stress and anxiety in the long term. Medicare rebates are available under the Better Access initiative.
The program also helps to enhance concentration and creativity, build resilience and improve personal and workplace performance. The program complements medical and psychological treatment, and actively engages you in your own health and wellbeing.

What does the program involve?
Learn to Relax is a structured program of experiential learning that includes:
- six one-on-one consultations over six weeks
- deep-relaxation training – including body awareness, breath-work and meditation practices
- mindfulness-based strategies for increasing self-awareness, developing emotional resilience and breaking stress-prone habit patterns
- tools for building stress-reduction techniques into your daily life
- feedback and support – including phone and email contact, and
- a comprehensive program manual and six audio CDs.
