Suitable for students in Year 3 and above, our stress management programs are skills-based and highly interactive. Students learn practical mind-management strategies for building resilience, improving performance and staying calm, focused and balanced at school.
Program Options:
- Master Your Mind - a unique resilience training program for Years 11 & 12. Blending psycho-education strategies and physiological stress management techniques with the latest research in neuroplasticity, the program empowers students to let go of limiting thoughts and beliefs, and control the way they feel and perform. Includes a comprehensive program manual and eight stress-resilience & mind-management techniques in mp3 format.
- Learning to Relax - suitable for students in Year 3 and above, this introductory workshop explores stress and relaxation, and how to recognise the physical and psychological difference between the two. Students learn a simple breathing technique to relax themselves at will.
- How to Reduce Exam Stress- suitable for students in Year 10 and above, this workshop introduces simple mind-management techniques to train students to keep their minds on the job and stay calm under pressure.
- VCE Chill-out - a 30-minute deep-relaxation intensive to relax the body and refresh the mind. The ideal student break-out session in the lead-up to exams.
