The Learn to Relax Program - Relaxation Workbook

Whichever Learn to Relax course option you choose (personal, group, corporate or learn-at-home), you receive our 112-page relaxation workbook and six audio CDs.

The Learn to Relax workbook is a comprehensive relaxation training tool, and has been specifically designed to take you step-by-step through a six-week process of becoming less stressed and more relaxed in the long term.  The workbook contains heaps of practical relaxation tips, to help you bring more relaxation, clarity and calmness into your everyday life. 

The workbook is divided into four sections:

  1. Program Introduction - what the Learn to Relax program is, and how and why it works.

  2. Stress and Relaxation - everything you need to know about these concepts.  This section will help you realise that being more relaxed is a worthwhile lifestyle choice.

  3. Learning to Relax - this section contains five lesson plans, covering the first five weeks of the program.  These lesson plans gently and progressively introduce a variety of relaxation concepts and techniques, moving from the gross (physical) to the subtle (mental).  As you work your way through these lesson plans you will find yourself becoming more relaxed.  You will remember to relax yourself in all kinds of stressful situations: meetings, bank queues, traffic jams, family disputes.  Your stressful habit patterns will begin to fall away, and your health will begin to visibly improve.  You will begin to experience a profound feeling of self-empowerment, and feel more in control of your health and wellbeing.

  4. Putting it all Together - this section contains the lesson plan for week six, and is an opportunity for you to formulate a personal, ongoing relaxation practice.  It is about continuing to use the techniques that work best for you, at the times and places that suit your lifestyle.  Ultimately, the aim of the Learn to Relax Program is about self-empowerment.  It is about YOU - an opportunity for you to learn skills that stay with you, so that you can call on them whenever you need, and wherever you are!
